In today’s fast-paced digital landscape, integrating AI into marketing strategies has become a part of my world. I won’t lie, I didn’t adopt it immediately. Maybe I’m too old 😉
But now as I look back over the past decade, I’ve realised AI and tools are very much a part of my life. Plus, I’m a HUGE fan of working smart not hard if I can, and If I can find a tools that can help me provide a better, quicker solution for my clients. Who am I to scoff that that!
Here’s how AI plays a role in our day-to-day operations:
1. Content Creation and ideas – ChatGpt
AI tools assist us in generating ideas for social media posts, blogs, and marketing materials. AI helps us identify content topics that resonate with target audiences.
Content is always key, but the reality is that clients are busy and so content is easier to curate if we get it ourselves. Brainstorming fresh ideas after a couple of years with a client, can become tricky and so I love how AI can spark and idea or plant a seed that my team and I can then run with.
2. Design tools – Adobe, Canva, Quik, Corel
I obviously use Adobe suite for my design. But I can’t deny that Canva has been a real game changer. I have been using it for years and I’ve watched it develop over the years.
That being said, you can spot a Canva template from a mile away!! So again, I use it for ideas and then I modify the posts from there.
Also, the pro version is well worth the money. And it’s absolutely essential that you stick to your brand. (Yes, yes I know the brand Nazi in me it coming out!) but seriously folks, brand needs to come first!!!
Fonts, colors etc…. They need to be consistent!!
You don’t see Nike written in Times new Roman and the Macdonald arch in orange do you?
3. Reporting – Datastudio with paid data integration software
Understanding the audience is key to any successful marketing campaign. AI-driven analytics allow us to segment audiences based on behavioural patterns, demographics, and online activity.
I also say to clients without Data you’re just someone with an opinion and so to analyse my clients social media, AdWords and SEO I use a variety of tools and softwares to analyse the effectiveness of their campaigns and optimise ad spend. This software can be quite pricey, but it allows me to rather sit with the data and analyse it, instead of spending hours, going to each individual platform, sifting through months to compare.
This then allows me to focus on the analysis of the data, so I can provide feedback to my clients and team on the marketing strategy and way forward.
So, in Conclusion
AI is not just a tool for efficiency; it’s a partner in our entire marketing process. By integrating AI into our marketing company, we enhance our ability to deliver personalised, data-driven, and highly effective campaigns for our clients.
