Get onto social media – This doesn’t mean that you need to login today and start a Facebook, twitter, google+, LinkedIn and Pinterest account, but it does mean you need to look at your strategy and stop swimming again the tide and get onto the social media platforms that are appropriate for your brand. Write good content – people want you to add value. So if you add value to their lives, they will value you. You don’t have to be an expert writer to do it either. There is so much knowledge on the internet that you can use to assist you in writing really good content that really adds value to your customer. You are the expert in your business, use those expertise to leverage off the www and get writing.
Word of mouth – the best business you will ever have is the one that passed on by a happy customer. A satisfied customer telling others about you is way more effective than any fancy marketing campaign. So it sounds obvious but focus on getting it right at the shop floor and then look at a programs that will encourage word of mouth. E.g refer a friend and get 10% off your next meal.
